grę staram się uruchomić na Celeron Dual Core 2,4 2 gb ramu i z gfem 8600

co za cyrk ... zainstalowałem Patch 1.7 a tu ? gra twierdzi że w DVD nie ma płyty od gry ..

Mam ten sam problem, tylko na Windows 7. Gra się wczytuje i po jakichś 15 sekundach wywala do pulpitu z komunikatem "Program przestał działać...", pojawia się jeszcze komunikat zaraz po włączeniu gry coś w stylu: "Schemat kolorów Windows 7 został zmieniony na podstawowy". Odpalałem w trybie zgodności i to samo. Radeon HD 4570 z najnowszymi sterami. Dodam, że na Viście działał bez problemu. :/

Spróbuj uruchomić z głównego folderu gry. Ja tak miałem: z pulpitu nie chciało się uruchomić, też pisało, że brakuje oryginalnej płytki. Jak uruchamiam z głównego folderu to wszystko działa. :)

Może jest coś napisane w instrukcji do gry, czy może w support? Poszukaj w google i popytaj na innych forach a najlepiej na oficjalnym forum Fallout'a 3. Tam raczej znajdziesz specjalistów czy też ludzi z podobnymi problemami.

Problem #1 : Fallout 3 crashing / Fallout 3 crash to desktop (ctd) | Fallout 3 crashing at the start of the game
Solution : (from Bethesda website)
1. Click Start
2. Click “All Programs” (or just Programs, depending on the version of Windows, whether they’re using “classic,” etc.)
3. Go to the ffdshow folder.
4. Click “Audio decoder configuration.”
5. In the left hand pane, click “Info & debug.” This is the second entry in the list.
6. In the right hand pane, near the bottom, find a check box labelled “Don’t use ffdshow in:”
7. Check that box, and in the text box underneath (it lights up when you check the check box), add “fallout3.exe” (don’t include the quotes). If there is already something in that box, put a semi-colon ( ; ) after what’s already there, and fallout3.exe after that. Do NOT use spaces, since ffdshow will think that’s part of the filename. A valid entry would be “explorer.exe;fallout3.exe” (without quotes).
8. Finally, click “Ok” and start Fallout 3.
