problem z gra Kroniki Riddicka
Chyba sie starzeje bo utknalem juz w pierwszych minutach gry.
Moment w ktorym pierwszy raz przechodze po poziomo zawieszonej pod sufitem drabince a na dole lazi kolo z czerwona latarka na helmie. Dochodze do jakiegos wlazu i pisze ze brak mi wrechtoola. Nie moge go nigdzie znalezc a innej drogi nie widze.
Z gory dziekuje za pomoc.

Jeden z pierwszych straznikow mial przy sobie klucz do otwierania wentylacji. Zaraz na poczatku, wychodzisz z ciemnego korytarza i Riddick mowi, zeby lepiej go zalatwic, a potem schowac cialo w cieniu. O ile dobrze pamietam :>>

The story starts with the ship of bounty hunter Johns descending towards
Butcher Bay, a triple-max security on a desert planet. He has finally
caught the famous Riddick, one of the most wanted criminals in the
universe. Watch the cut-scene. You'll be able to control Riddick when you
set foot on the planet. Johns is standing in front of you. Talk to him
using [E]. You'll get to choose what you say to him, but it doesn't matter
at all. After you've talked to him, Johns will turn around to scold another
inmate. This is your chance. Sneak up behind Johns, and press [MB1] to end
your captor's life with one quick snap. When Johns is dead, the inmate he
was talking to (Pixie) will try to pick up the gun, but he'll get
electrified, because the gun is DNA encoded. Meanwhile, the other convict
will open up a hatch in the center of the landing platform. A gun turret
near the door will start firing, so quickly drop down the hatch.
Use [Space] to jump over the rubble, and then press [E] near the ladder to
climb down. At the bottom, look around for a pack of cigarettes (pack
#35). Now, drop off the machinery you're standing on, and approach the guy
who is working near the door. Time for your first melee fight! Use [MB1] to
punch, and [MB2] to block. You shouldn't have much problem killing this guy.
When he's dead, check near the gun on the ground to find a Security Guard.
Don't touch the gun. It's DNA encoded, so you can't use it. Now, with this
Security Card, you can open the door in this room. Behind it is a narrow
and dark corridor. A guard is patrolling in the next corridor. Crouch in
these shadows, and wait for the guard to pass. When he does, quickly sneak
up behind him. Press [MB1] when near his back to silently kill him. You can
also kill him in a melee fight, but this is easier.
The game will now suggest that you hide the body. Crouch, and press [E] to
grab the body. Drag it back to the dark corridor you came from, and press
[E] again to drop the body. Now, continue through the corridor. There's a
vent tool, which is a basic melee weapon, in the corridor here, but you
don't really need it....

usypiacz, Septi--> miałem dokładnie tak samo. Nie wiem dokładnie w czym leżał problem, wydaje mi sie że w sterach bo używałem kart nvidii i radeonów. W kazym razie gierka sie odpalila bez problemu po reinstalce calego systemu. Pokombinujcie ze sterami, pousuwajcie co mozecie z rejestrow i itp. A jak sie nie uda to reinstal.

Problem: “Application error: Sbzengine.exe” while starting the game.
Solution:
This error can occur as the result of a variety of issues or conflicts with the Windows operating system and/or system hardware. Here are some recommendations which may help to resolve this issue:
1. Windows Service Packs
a. Service Pack 1
If you have Windows XP installed please verify that Service Pack 1 has been installed. To check if Service Pack 1 is currently installed please go to https://windowsupate.microsoft.com and check for all current updates.
b. Service Pack 2
If you have installed Service Pack 2 from Microsoft AFTER you have installed the Riddick (PC) program, completely uninstall and reinstall the Riddick program. A complete uninstall of the Chronicles of Riddick (PC) program includes running the uninstall process from CONTROL PANEL/ADD-REMOVE PROGRAM and also verifying that the Riddick EFBB folder is no longer present in the Program Files\Starbreeze Studios. If the Riddick EFBB is still present in this directory after running the uninstall process, RIGHT click on in it and and select DELETE from the drop down menu.
Note: Service Pack 2 is not a system requirement for the Riddick (PC) program; however, some users have been able to resolve the "Sbzengine.exe" error by installing this update from Microsoft.
2. Close background applications
Before starting the program have as few other programs as possible running in the background. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and then "Task Manager" (for Windows 2000 and XP, also click on the PROCESSES tab) and close any running programs that are not essential to basic Windows operation -- do not close Systray and Explorer.exe.
You may want to try doing a Selective Startup, which will inhibit certain properties from commencing when your system starts up. Go on the desktop to START/RUN and type in "msconfig". When the menu appears, click on the GENERAL tab, if it is not already at the front.
Under STARTUP SELECTION, select SELECTIVE STARTUP, and UNCHECK the selection LOAD STARTUP ITEMS. Click APPLY and then OK, and reboot the system and try the program.
At any time, you can always go back into the MSCONFIG menu to change back to NORMAL STARTUP or SELECTIVE STARTUP and replace the checkmark next to LOAD STARTUP ITEMS.
3. Make certain to reboot your system immediately after completing installation of the Riddick (PC) program.
4. Verify that there is the proper amount of free space on the hard drive onto which the program has been installed to. For Riddick (PC) the HD requirements are: 3.7 GB hard disc space (recommend 4.4 of uncompressed disc space).
5. Try either lowering or disabling the Hardware Sound Acceleration. On the desktop, go to START->RUN and type in "dxdiag" and then "OK". Then click on the "Sound" tab and try each of the notches under this option.
6. Please verify that the latest software drivers are installed on your system for the video and sound devices. To check for the device manufacturers and driver versions go on the desktop to START/RUN and type in "dxdiag" and then click OK. Once the menu comes up, click on the tabs for "Display" and "Sound". Check the properties of "Version:" and "Date:". Then refer to the device manufacturer"s web site to see if newer drivers are available for download.

7. If you have a gamepad or joystick currently attached to the system, and are not using it with the Riddick program, try detaching or disabling it before initiating the game.

ok, rozwiązałem problem
trzeba było zniszczyćobydwa riot guardy, a ja wcześniej jednego załatwiłem, a drugi zwlaił się z platformy w przepaśc. Trzeba było je oba ręcznie rozwalić. I wtedy z samolotu wyjeżdża pomost i możńa do neigo wsiąść. Guardy możńa załatwić na conajmniej 2 sposoby - albo za pomoca miniguna, który możńa znaleźc przy rozwalonych riot guardzie wcześniej (sposób szybki i łatwy) albo włażąc na skrzynię i waląc do guarda np. z shotguna (guardy nei strzelają do góry). Możńa też się znimi ganiać, jak ktoś woli.
Ogóleni gra jest bardzo fajna, końvcówka tylko trochę słaba. Jest to jedna z nielicznych gier które przykuły mnie do monitora na dłużej niż chwilę i jedna z nielicznych któe skończyłem.

u mnie na bartonie 2500@2800 i gf5900 podkrconym o 20% chodzi srednio 30-40FPS (i to zarowno przy PS 1.1 jak i 2.0) na full detalach w 1024x768, ale jak mialem procka na 2500+ to chodzilo z 30% wolniej , wiec chyab mocny proc jest potrzebny, ale moze jak karta graf. nei obsługuje wszystkich bajerów to chodzi szybciej i na słabszym sprzęcie 9chociaż i mój już kwalifikuje się do tych słabszych)

mam pytanko. Czy tą grę można zainstalować w jakiś sposób na Win98?? W pracy mam XP i zainstalowałem bez problemu ale tam, wiadomo, karta graficzna lipna i sobie nie pogram, a zresztą to praca :-P. W domq mam win98 i jak tylko płytke wkładam to jest komunikat że program setup.exe nieprawidłowo odwołuje się do pliku user32.exe i tyle
Czy można to jakoś zainstalować??
Doom3 też podobno miał chodzić tylko na XP a po drobnych przeróbkach pliku exe mi poszedł
