Who are you?

My name is Jason Gunther. I am a 23 year old College Grad from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, a very well known IT school I may add. Within 3 months of graduation I got a phone call for a job opportunity in Northern Virginia at one of the largest IT firms in the world. When they told me how much I would be making I about dropped the phone with excitement. I thought my life just could not get any better. I was wrong. In Northern VA a condo, yes a condo...costs $500,000. You don't even want to know what a single family house costs, yet alone renting a place to live. I immediately realized that all the money I was making was nothing. On top of it all I drive a Viper that gets 9 MPG and gas prices just rose to $4 a gallon. I am not even making enough money to pay my bills now. So what am I suppose to do? Sell my viper you say? That may work, but what is the fun in that? Why not take the thing that I have worked my entire life for, and put it up to be destroyed for your viewing pleasure? My dream is to one day open a bar. To do that, it's not going to happen living paycheck to paycheck. I'm taking risk launching this site, in order to get startup funds in order to open up my bar idea. I figure it's probably going to cost at least $500,000 to open up the bar that I have...and I definitely don't have that kind of cash laying around.

Why would you destroy your Viper?

My main goal in life is to run my own business. Me and my roommate have a great idea for a bar, but it's going to cost a ton of money in order to start something like that. The only thing I really own is my Viper, and I'm willing to give it up in order to achieve my dream of opening the bar. I have worked my whole life for this car and it honestly is the only thing I can really say is mine. I understand that I could sell this thing and easily become out of debt, but what is the fun in that? Selling my Viper would be one of the hardest things to do in my whole life. If its gotta go, it's going to go out with a bang (or two) and hopefully this is as enjoyable to everyone else as it will be for me. If it all works out, hopefully I can invite you guys down to our bar for a drink!
